Flywheel/clutch question
I have an 89 T5 Clutch/flywheel assembly. I also have an 80-85 truck 350. The engine is a two-peice rear main seal block. I am aware that the flywheel will not bolt up but I am wondering if the clutch that I already have will bolt up to the older style flywheel? Also, is there anyway for me to keep my starter off of my 91?

Get an '83-'85 f-body V8 flywheel, and your clutch and starter will work fine with it.

Re: Flywheel/clutch question
The engine isn't infront of me right now but in my searching I have begun to wonder if the straight line/offset bolt patterns on the starters will cause a problem?
One more question, I am using modified L98 heads, I shouldn' have an issue with getting my 91 serpantine system to bolt up, should I?

An '83-'85 f-body V8 flywheel will be 153 tooth. And, it makes a difference, as a 168-tooth flywheel won't fit in a T5 bellhousing.
Shouldn't be a problem with the starter mounting to the block.
Shouldn't be a problem with the serpentine set-up bolting to the L98 heads as long as the modifications didn't involve the bolt holes on the end of the head.
