350 swap, tbi compatability?
Hello! I blew my 91 Rs' 305 a few months ago, and will be swapping a 350 in its place. I have a t5 World Class that I just rebuilt maybe 5000 miles ago in the car aswell. I am aiming for something in the low 300 horse range, as to not push tha T5 too far past its limitations.
My question is, what are the limitations and whatnot for using the existing TBI system on the 350, if i follow the guides to make it compatable as another write up has listed? (ecu, injectors, knock sensor) would it support the engine well enough until I save the cash for an aftermarket system such as a FAST system? Thanks all!

Generally so, yes.
People seem to get good results with the EBL on that system; maybe a better match, and cheeeeper, than aftermarket like FAST.

What would the limitations on the stock system be? HP and RPM wise?

Not so much limits on HP & RPM, directly; more, limits on how adaptable it is to things like cams w long duration. IOW, no limit on "HP" and "RPM", as such; rather, limits on ALL of the paths as to how you would get there.
I don't know of anybody that's got a stock TBI computer to really "perform". It simply lacks adaptability. No amount of chip work that I've ever seen, has successfully overcome the factory's designs in that regard. Prolly not worth attempting.
