Yea both are good systems. It's more of what sound you are looking for and what's your preference.

It's a toss up really. I prefer the sound of the Hooker (even though I have flowmaster).
It's actually been proven on the LS1 boards that I frequent that the Flowmaster doesn't flow as well as the Hooker and some other catbacks. Of course this is at higher hp than what many thirdgens see, and even LS1s for that matter.
I say if you don't plan many serious mods, go with what you think sounds the best.
