Wrapping new headers

Anyone know if it's safe to wrap new headers with the protective burn off paint on or do I need to remove it first?
Thanks

Burn the paint off first. It only takes a couple of hours drive time to get it off. Be awware that wrapping the headers will void most warranties (as if we care).

ALSO, if you wrap headers... they WILL rust under the wrap over a while... but if you do... you need to burn the paint off
