True dual, cat free, and... a noise restriction..help?
My 82' t/a has a side exhaust setup on it with no cat and just a pair odd mufflers that dont do a whole lot (far from street legal). I would be perfectly content with this except that recently the place where I take the car to play has been slapped with a noise restriction. So my question is about what kind of mufflers I should get to bring my noise down a little while also keeping restriction low and clearance high enough. Has anyone else used a bullet style that has been at least somewhat quiet? Or has anyone found a regular low restriction setup that doesnt cause clearance issues?
Thanks.
Thanks.

What type of power are you making? That will determine what you pick. An average high flow 3" unit can support gobs of power. You may want to look at the square spintech mufflers. Bullet style mufflers are loud and would most likely not do much more than what you already have. High flow cats really knock the sound down as well.
