Engine: LS1
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.73 10 bolt
+Headers -Air = Stalling out, HELP!
This is on a 92 Camaro LO3 car.
I recently installed headers on my car and removed the air system. Initially I was running it without an O2 (temporarily) and with the EGR still connected. It ran fine for about a week and then started stalling out. When it stalls it just immediately shuts down, will usually turn back over easily but at this time got to the point where it wouldn't. It was pulling up a code 23 (MC valve, but it's TBI so I'm assuming this is a bad IAC reading?)
I then put in a 02 and reset the comp and it ran fine for a couple of days, then the car stalled out again and wouldn't start. Still pulling a code 23
Recently I disconnected the EGR, put in a JET Stage 2 Chip, new fuel pump and thought I was good to go. It ran fine for about a day and has once again started stalling out. Runs better but just wont stay turned over. When starting it turns over fine like it was initially but randomly stalls out without warning. Just drops off, no hesitation, no nothing. The first time I drove it it pulled a code 32 (EGR) but that code hasn't even come up since. Code 23 has not come back up, nor have any other codes.
I have run out of ideas? All I can think is to try a tuner cat program (which I know nothing about) or trying to reinstall my AIR system. Please help!!
