Need help with spark plug wires

Hey guys,

I have headman shorties installed on my '91 Z28 and I want to know if the stock plug wires will fit or do I need the end to be a 90 degree boot?

I have a set up brand new ac delco wires and want to know if they will fit before I open the package. If they can be used, can someone please provide a pic so that I can see how they fit.

Thank you in advance.

Most headers require 90* boots. Stock replacements for a 90 1500 truck (LO5) fit excellent

AC Delco makes hundreds of sets. Youll have to be more specific

Also, how do your plugs fit? Sometimes you need to go with a shorter set for clearance

Hey Pocket,

Thanks for your response.

I don't have the part # of the wires but they are the stock ones for this car with the long boot. As far as the plugs they are the stock ones as well.

The plug wires for the '90 truck that you had noted, does it come with a 90* or the long boot?

Thanks

The 87-95 TBI truck wires (305 or 350) all come with 90* boots. They're also 8mm instead of 7mm. We've used them for years with headers. Borg Warner Select part number CH8833, I think.

Hey Kevin91Z,

Thanks for your reply.

The wires that you are referring to above are ac delco's wires for '87 to '95, part # 9618V?

Thanks.
