hey ya'll i have a 1984 camaro i'm Tryin to get rid of my single exhaust and turn it into true duals but i'm having some trouble finding a muffler that will fit and look good i'm thinking about running the pipes down along the edge of the car under the doors and having the tail pipes coming out right in front of the rear tires (one on each side) and i cant seem to find any small mufflers that would not hang to low to where they will scrape on the ground. i have thought about doing just straight pipes with no muffler at all but im worried that will be to loud. any ideas on how i can pull this off either with a muffler or with straight pipes but make it quieter somehow?

if i have to i could bring it out in the back and do one tail pipe out each side too but i would rather not

I would suggest dumping them right before the axle. You will have a decent amount of room to run any muffler then.
