Looking for a Formula offset bulge hood? -FOUND
As the title says, I am looking for a rust free offset bulge hood.
Commonly used on Formula's and pre 85 Trans Am's.
I am willing to travel 6 hours from New Orleans to pick up.
I have one on my 89 it is starting to rust - it needs replaced.

Re: Looking for a Formula offset bulge hood?
I remember when third gen parts were easy to come by in the salvage yards as well.
Not so much now a days. Thank You for keeping an eye out!
Hopefully something will "pop up"

I can ship ANYTHING,have shipped these hoods to Europe before.
Figure about 250 to ship it greyhound or truck freight
hail is pretty bad many gumball size dents, that's why its cheap

Re: Looking for a Formula offset bulge hood?
Thank You all for your offers.
I haven't had the time to be online lately (work and such)
I have located and bought a hood from the Pensacola,FL area.
It is at my painters place being worked on.
My Firebird is not a factory red, so any hood would of had to be painted.
It had 11 coats of paint on it!! I did say had.
IT was from a 82-84, since it still had a grill in the bulge, not a block off plate
Drove out last weekend and paid $50 for it.
I actually paid more for the gas on the trip.
(My truck has a V-10)
Thank you for the offers though.
