Alright i am finally being forced to sell my 89 gta.
Its an 89 gta 350tpi 700r4 white w t tops 83,xxx miles, performance suspension, aluminum drive shaft, 323 rear end, interior is in decent shape dash pad perfect. The car has a bunch of new parts heres what i remember off the top of my head
new battery
New alternator
New starter
New solenoid
New distributer
New oil pressure sending unit
New radiator
New coolant temp sensor
Used computer
New headlight switch
New transmission mount
edelbrock rpm muffler not installed
The car was repainted in 99 but has a few scuffs and scratches and a small amount of rust. The car has a rebuilt salvage title from an accident the previous owner got in but the car has no signs of this, it was previously owned by a well known local automotive shop owners wife and was fixed properly.
Now what she needs to be a solid car. tires need replaced, lexan plastic t tops are in rough shape, both rear view mirrors have been broken, body has some rust around the rear wheel wells and spoiler is a little rough , car runs and drives but needs a tune up, transmission shifts but is soft needs a rebuild yesterday couldnt get it out of second driving home havent checked fluid just switched to drivin my other car i do have a 4l80e that can go with it would be a hassle to put in this car but could easily be traded for a 700r4, headlight motors need rebuilt, other than that its a pretty solid car. It came in third for best original firebird at thirdgenfest 05
I hate to see this car go it has been my baby for years but i can't afford to throw any more money at it and i don't have a place to store it any longer. Please pm me with any questions you may have i have nothing to hide with this car. Im asking 2000.00 obo
Is it driveable as it sits? Does the car look anything like it does in your link? I am in st. louis also and am interested. How bad is the rust? Do the t-tops leak?
Car is drivable as it sits, but like i said last time i had it out it didnt want to shift to 3rd havent checked the fluid since have just been to busy to tend to it but i know it was leaking. the pics are from a few years ago so it doesnt look quite as good now but its not in terrible shape the rust is at a stage were it would be easily managable if you have any bodywork expierience. The t tops leak a little due to the cracks they are lexan plastic and in rough shape they will need to be replaced but t tops arent very hard to come by.

Its cloth, the seat moves a little i think something may be broken undernieth, the dash pad and dash are in very good condition the headliner sags there are scratches here and there throughout, the center console is bowing out a little like they all do. ill take some pics and post em.
Car is sold!! Just wanted to also say thanks to everyone on this site for the extremely helpfull knowledge over the years. Hopefully i will get another thirdgen some day.
