1984 15th anniversary trans am !!!SOLD!!!

i'm going to sell at least two of my 6 muscle cars to make room for winter storage....as you guys know, they only made 1500 anniversary cars in 84...they come loaded up with the t tops, recaros, etc...
on a scale of 1 to 10, this one is an 8 or 8.5....it's original in almost every way from what i can tell...what makes this car even more rare is that it's out of canada....the dash is in kilometers...it has approx 76k on the car...a kid on here who used to own it sent me the original invoice...it's handwritten! shows it was sold to a dentist in canada...these cars were wickid expensive...

i will email pix if interested...i can never figure out how to get them on here...

the good:
paint, body is wickid straight and nice...it's a head tuner for sure
interior is awesome....leather bolsters do have some wear in the spots where you get in the car...the leather/white offsets are wickid nice ...
wheels very nice, too

the bad: every one out of five times, the tranny whines...i have had the car in storage all summer and just drove it home...it ran great....because somebody may have to do something with the tranny someday, the price is very low at 5k.....i will not take a penny lower....i'm taking a loss on it as it is...average nada is 11k on this car....frankly, this car is way way nicer than average....

my email is cbourgeault@sau15.net if you want pix or if you want to call 603 817 4091

this car is sweet....also, right now it has later tail lights on it...i owe them to someone here on the forum but i have the correct tail lights for it in the hatchback....

Now that the car sold on eBay, are you still going to get those tail lights back to me? I went out of my way to get you the original paperwork and radio for that car which made it more desireable. Sorry to call you out on a forum, but as you know I have tried to contact you numerous times via email and phone over the past 8-10 months and you never respond. What's up??

Re: 1984 15th anniversary trans am

well a couple of things...my phone number is posted everywhere, i'm available if you wanted to reach me so give me a break...and is this really the place for you rant?

1. i do appreciate the radio..thx..it does not work
2. the "paperwork" was a faded bill of sale that cannot be read..it would be awesome if it could be read....again, thanks
3. as you know, i ageed to give you the tail lights for free..i had no use for them..unfortunately, hopkinton auto sales and the fella i bought the car from never gave me the correct lights until recently....
4. the car has been sitting in a showroom in tilton nh at m&k motorsports so i have not had access...it's home now and i'm going to ship it to the new buyer so i will have the lights changed out for you...
5. you are a bit over the top, aren't you? i have a good mind to send you the five dollar radio and to hell with the lights but apparently you have worked yourself into a frenzy.....what are the lights worth anyways? 100 bucks? the radio? 5 bucks? now i understand....
you'll get them but grow up...lol

Re: 1984 15th anniversary trans am

Lisa,

I always go out of my way to help out anyone and everyone, you included. There are a bunch of local folks on this board who would agree. I never ask for anything in return as I love this hobby and enjoy the company of other folks who do too.

A general rule of thumb is that when a car is traded into a dealer, you are really not supposed to hear about it again. When you got ahold of me after you bought it and wanted original paperwork, I drove an hour to pick it up from where it was stored, an hour home, and spent time making copies and detailing the cars history for you to help you out. Someday when they start to appreciate in value, that cars history is fairly well preserved. I'm very aware that 80's GM radios are not worth much of anything, but that paperwork makes the car more valuable in certain peoples eyes. You would not have asked for it if it wasn't valuable to you. Over the summer, a garden rake fell in my garage and broke a tail light on my current firebird. I held off on getting another for a while because you had promised to send those back to me, and you never sent an email back. If you didn't have the original lights at the time or you changed your mind, all you had to do was send me an email.

Keep the lights. I certainly would have given you all the paperwork regardless, but I just feel like you really never truly intended to give them to me. I just wanted to let you know though that I had honeslty planned to give you a rebuilt 700R4 that I have for free as I felt really bad that you were having issues with the one in the car.

Congrats on the sale
