Come on guys, can I get a litttle feedback please ? Price too high, or just no one on this website interested in turbo cars. What do you all think, thumbs up or thumbs down? If no one wants to buy atleast give me some opinions please. Thanks.
If you were closer I'd come take a look. I like the color and body style, love the rims. A time slip and dyno sheet would help you move the car. Make sure the wide band 02 is indicated on the dyno sheet. Stock bottom end and tranny probbaly scare people. How long has the kit been on? How many miles on the car? How was it tuned? Stock based computer or alternate? Have you done a compression test and do you have the results?
New lowered price $6900.00, will take reasonable offers.
and some more info......
I've never had the car to the track. The only horsepower and torque numbers I can give are what Desktop Dyno rate this combo at. At 5500 RPM (what my rev limiter is set at) and 8 PSI, 440 HP; 410 TQ. I can tell you that it is capable of 15+ PSI easliy, and does still need some tuning. The body is not rust free, although it is only surface rust in the rear wheel wells and under the car. This car hasnt seen a winter in the 10 years I've owned it. It is by no means a show car, nor was it intended to be, but it is far from rusting into the ground. The motor is a stock LO3 TBI 305. I have always performed the routine maintenance myself and have put less than 40k on the engine since I've owned it. It burns / leaks no oil, the heads where rebuild a fews years ago before this kit was even a thought, new seals and valve seat grinds. So from the head gaskets up the engine has aprox 30k miles on it. The best part about this is that when this motor gets boring, any small block from mild to wild is a plug and play install.
Did you do the turbo install/ fabrication yourself? That is a very clean and impressive install! Im assuming the a/c wouldnt fit with that system on there? Makes me wish I had the cash for that
