Beautiful car Evan. It reminds me of my sons GTA before he wrecked it. I seriously wish I had the cash. By the way 13.2 in the 1/4 is moving for a TPI car with stock heads and a stock cam.

Hey, I'm not trying to be "that guy" but, has no one noticed the "rarity" of this car? In 1991 and 1992, Pontiac no longer offered the 5.7 with removable roof panels. My biggest question is where did you get the SLP Firehawk dual intake? But, all over a very clean car. It's nice to see red overspray on the Panhard rod mount instead of brown steel.

You shouldn't be "that guy" because you could still in fact get a 91-92 Formy with the L98/ttops combo provided it was ordered with the crosslace rims and a few other options. While rare it's still legit and that car has the RPO codes to prove it.
So yeah.....

Re: 1991 Formula 5.7L,auto,T-tops,red paint,black cloth,35,600mi.,13.2sec1/4mi
Thanks for the support guys. This is definately a factory original L98 t-top car. The SLP intake was on the car when I bought it. I am finally settled in to my new home in NC and have some time to see what's happening on thirdgen.
The Formy made the trip from Morrisville, PA to Belmont, NC without a scratch.( I towed it on a flatbed trailer with my Dodge Durango). I did run into 6 inches of snow in Virginia, but didn't have any problems.
Also wanted to let you all know I will consider any trade. Thanks.

Not the original paint, but it is the original color. I am the 4th owner. Original exhaust manifolds can come with car. No knowledge of previous damage. I have receipts for most parts and mods done by me and previous owners. I have original owners manual and credit card door key.

Did you paint the car? Or do you have pics of the car before it was painted? Curious as to why with such low mileage? What sort of documentation do you have to document the miles? What work did you do on the car? You don't have the original rims, brakes, rear end, intake, etc? Does any damage show up on CarFax?
Thanks again! Can you post pics of the drivers door stickers?
Re: 1991 Formula 5.7L,auto,T-tops,red paint,black cloth,35,600mi.,13.2sec1/4mi
Don't know when or why car was painted. Crap GM paint? Some of the work orders from prvious owners have mileage. I only have the manifolds and AIR tubes. I pesonally put on the headers, starter heat shield, SFCs, wonderbar, intake gaskets, fuel rail o-rings, tires, plug wires, cap, rotor, trans pan gskt, engine mounts, diff fluid, hood props, oil changes, and aligned front end. VIN is in pics. Feel free to run CarFax.

SLP sold them as stand alone retail items aside from being OE on the Hawks.

The first part of your "original post":

Re: 1991 Formula 5.7L,auto,T-tops,red paint,black cloth,35,600mi.,13.2sec1/4mi
Just interesting that some of us are wanting the t-tops and the 350 because of the rarity of it (and obvious more power and open air motoring), and others of us are avoiding them because
a)we already had them and now want the stronger car with the solid roof,
b)we never took them off
c)and or we prefer the look of the hardtop.
d)we didn't like the fish growing in the back seat floor
Since this car has such strong improvements to the structure and such low mileage, the t-tops won't have any serious drawbacks. Personally, I can't buy it because it is bright red and one more ticket will cause me to lose my license. I need a black one.
This car is a good deal because it is most of the way towards classic status. Spend this money on a 2001 model and you will lose money for the next ten years. (not to mention the 2001's are ugly)
In a day when all new cars have exposed roof welds with only a cheap plastic channel molding covering them, we should be happy that the builders of our cars took the time to actually finish the bodywork where the quarter panels attach to the roof! (instead of leaving a 1 inch wide open ditch in the metal with a plastic strip inserted to keep people from cutting their hands on the welds...
Plus, the front and rear fenders go all the way down to the bottom of the car. (on newer cars, the front and rear fenders only go down as far as the bumper cover. Then, because the bumper cover continues all the way around to the wheel well, you have a huge crack in the body between the fender and the bumper and even a crack in the wheel wells where the fender stops and the bumper begins. that is insane. Might as well make engine parts out of plastic too. Oh wait. they already do that. that is just pure cheapness. Less metal means less money. They would not build a car this finished in detroit if you paid a million dollars for it. Next thing will be crankshafts made of plastic.

I thought so too, but there it is on his RPO sheet, CC1 (T-tops) and L98
