Testing the waters...91 Firebird
Ok, I'm testing the water here. I'm looking to get out of 3rd gen's all together. I really have no intrest anymore. That being said I maybe selling my 91 'Bird.
It has,
- 3.1/auto
- P/W
- P/DL
- Foglights
- P/Hatch release with pull down.
- Grey interior
- 15" base 'Bird wheels
- Sport Apperance package (missing the front fender GFX)
- '85-'90 T/A tails (in good shape, one stud is missing)
- RUST FREE DOORS
- RUST FREE FLAT HOOD
- RUST FREE 1/4's
- RUST FREE FENDERS (not original fenders for car, fenders DO NOT have the holes for the GFX)
- NON-DEFROST HATCH (orignal NC Car)
Beyond that, it's your basic v6 'Bird. Now...the bad
- PA Salvage Title
- Interior is blown apart (ie. dash assy. and seat belts are still in it, that's it)
- Exterior is blown apart (ie. front clip is off car, rocker GFX off)
- Rust in the D/S front footwell (where the floor meets the firewall in the corner, common)
- Rust starting in the D/S rocker (will need about a 10" section repaired)
- Some misc holes in the main pans (none larger 4"x4", prolly 3 spots total)
- Floor pans dented from outside in a bit (PO was an idiot and apparently didn't know how to jack up the car)
- R/F corner was in a light tap before I got it (inner fender needs pulled up about a 1/2" or so)
- Windshield needs replaced
- Surface rust on suspension and floors (was stored for a few years in a barn)
- NO KEYS. I bought the car from a local salvage yard for a good deal, but no keys. So, i've never ran the car.
- Missing the D/S cupholder and the radio pod (was broken)
- NO FRONT SEATS. Still have the rears.
All in all, it's a great platform for a drag or road race car (my intensions for the car), or a parts car. It really is solid except for the spots listed above. But that's up to the buyer. I will sell the car with the following...
- Fenders (stripped, one in primer, one bare)
- Factory flat hood
- Good GFX Nose (for foglights)
- all other pieces I can find
I'm not intrested in putting the car back together. It's been apart for a few years and moved twice so some of the misc bolts/screws/nuts are lost to the ages. Will not part out, trying to sell whole first. I'm looking to get back what I have into it. $700 OBO. I've tried to give the MOST accurate description I can. I wish I had the time/drive to do something with this car. Who know's, I may keep it in inventory or further down the line. Like stated above, testing the waters (aka - $$ talks/BS walks). Give me a few days to get pics up please. Busy with life and a 2 year old, so spare time is limited. Email is derthdeboblo@gmail.com Thanks!
