Car: 1985 TA
Engine: 350 Carb
Transmission: T56
For Sale: 1985 Trans AM $3500 obo
I am selling my 1985 TA. It has a carbed 350, T56 6speed transmission, 9 bolt rear, 16" stock rims with good rubber, t tops, leather interior and console from a 1998 Firebird, Edelbrock performer cam, 600cfm carb, and performer cam. It has UMI welded subframe connectors, and a UMI transmission crossmember. The interior is a little rough, headlight motors dont work, paint is faded, little rust on fender and door. Had a stainless steel 2.5" exhaust put on it 2 years ago with longtube hedman headers. Told it has to have a catylitic converter to pass inspection. Currently have it registered as a classic. Car runs and shifts good. Carb is a little funny at times, but i am not an expert with tuning them. Thank you for looking. Located in central Pennsylvania.

How is the wiring on the car? I see some stray wires under the dash as well as what looks like wiring but may well be vacuum line in the back seat.
Besides that, what else is really wrong? You talked of rust and a few other issues, but it isn't really pictured all that great. Do you have any better quality pictures, or other pictures in general?
Thanks!

There are some wires under the dash hanging down. The panel to go there is in the trunk. The wires in the back seat are RCA cables to an amp I never got finished. The most of the rust is on the driver side floor board. Some pin holes mostly. The car is pretty solid and runs well. The carb needs tuned but over all it is a good car. I broke my leg in the fall and was down for about 5 months. I just really dont have time for it anymore and want it to go to someone who can make it what it should be. Im am willing to entertain a reasonable offer to see that it happens. Thanks for looking.
