WTB v6 or 305 Firebird

Hey guys, my friend has finally decided it's time for her to get her first car, and she pretty much fell in love with my Formula so I figure I should help her join the fbody club.

So yes, I'm looking for a decent v6 or 305 in or around south east wi. Lemme know what you have.

Re: WTB v6 or 305 Firebird

If your friend is still in the market for a firebird, I have a 1990 formula firebird with T-tops, I have included a list of adjustments and upgrades I have done to the car, and all the new parts that have been installed. I am asking 15,000 obo. I will also be willing to trade for a small car that is good on gas and/or a kawasaki ninja 500

First off, she was given the name K.I.T.T for a reason; she does have a mind of her own and likes to show off (this is not a joke)

In GOOD condition, but will NOT pass emissions without a new intake manifold (The reason is because does not have an egr valve, and the manifold will not support one)

NEW:

- High flow radiator
- Water pump
- Rear diff. gasket
- headers (manifold gaskets)
- Performance tires (street legal drag/ they are wide and like to grab the road-yes
she is a road hog unless properly controlled; my favorite saying with her is “the
yellow line is MINE!”)
- High flow catalytic converter
- exhaust, and chrome pipes
- Spark plugs, and wires
- Brakes
~New headlight conversion kit~ (Pilot WI-HL11; blue, green, or red outer-glow
rings, your choice of color-has blue right now) I also have the original factory
headlights that still work.
- Battery
- Starter (and heat shield)
- Transmission hoses
- Radiator hoses
- Radiator overflow tank
- Thermostat and gasket
- Automatic Choke
~I have a new throttle kit that can be installed and will go with the car if
requested~
- Suspension kit (dropped her 4 to 6 inches with a slight down-grade toward the
front/ she was being rigged to drag)
- Rear-view mirror

Working:

- Headlight motors
- Power windows (power side mirrors)
- Rear hatch release (button located on center of dash above radio)
- AM/FM radio/CD player
- 12-volt cigarette lighter (have a two-way splitter to hook up radar detector/
anything else; it will go with the car if requested)
- $400 fiber optics under glow kit/ 7 different colors and mixtures of colors/ 7 to 10
different “blinking” settings (missing one bar) will also go with the car
- Sound system (includes 1000 W amp and new interior speakers all the way
around)
- Full size spare tire (not a donut)
- Thermostat controls (heater, defrost, A/C all working)
~ALL lights work~ (blinkers, headlights, tail lights, hazards)

Runs and sounds like a beast/ 10 sec. car!
- 305 V8 carb. (edelbrock 4 barrel)
- 4 speed automatic tranny (OD)
- 80,000 miles on a rebuilt tranny and motor (6 years old)
- All fluids have been changed on a regular basses

~There is no body damage, or rust/ Factory body (The wing on the back has a small crack, but if you look on Hawks, you will find the wing that I was going to put on her, it’s like the factory one, but sits higher with a new tail light assembly for the middle light)

Things she needs:

- Tranny kick-down cable (it is fraying and will need to be replaced)
- Radiator fan (The assembly/mounting bracket has been tweaked and needs to be
replaced, I was going to put a duel-fan in it ~just to give you an idea of what you
can do~)
- The Throttle cable is in good condition but I bought a new one to go ahead and
switch it out; only because I was fixing her up, but it’s not a necessity.
- Complete interior kit (this is also not a necessity, but can be done when you have
the money)

I have dumped OVER 10,000.00 into this car and I am fed-up with all the stuff I need to do to it to get it to pass emissions. She is my baby, and a spoiled car!
