Soccer Mom driving van ran a STOP SIGN and hit the front right side in NOV 2002. I used all NOS componants for the repair. Example Door was $1000 (shipped from CA) and I also added all of the suspension upgramdes SFCs, STB, wonder bar, Spohn stuff, new wheels, tires. The complete susupension, brakes were redone. Since I have done the transmission, rear-end in the past couple of years, its make the car almost new. Except for the engine that has 60,000 miles on it, the rest of the running gear has less then 10,000 miles. The car is no-longer my daily driver, it stays under cover in my garage.

I hope this thread is still around when I can call my project close enough to finished. Bought it a year ago, rolling chasis for $250. Ive purchased over 120 items for it, its not rediculous expensive because i budgeted before I bought the car and try try try to stick to it. I have an excel spreadsheet with all the costs. Im at 4,660 right now, not counting replacement of a large body component fron a mishap test driving after installing the engine and tranny, which involved a hood latch (thank God it was before I finished the body).... Painted it myself, so that includes a few devilbiss goodies too. Trick is selling everything you dont need off the car you buy and subtracting it from your total.
