Looking at a 4th gen B4C...need help with value
Hi everyone,
Moderators, not sure if this is the right place, I hope so. If not I apologize in advance.
I am looking at a 2000 B4C Camaro, clean CARFAX with 117K miles. Car is pretty nice but needs a steering wheel, a few lug nut caps and replacement of the dash which is cracked. The car has never had holes cut for lights in the exterior, just lights at the top of the windshield on the inside. The owner just replaced the exhaust with long tubes and no cats, but if I buy it, that is the first thing that will have to go. I would have a better handle on this car if it was a third gen, but don't know a lot about fourth gens. Does anyone have a realistic idea what this car is worth?
Thanks,
Jason

I watched a stack of them (late LS1 B4C Camaros) go through the auction process. They were selling for around $5000. That was a few years ago. KBB.com NADA.com etc will probably give you a pretty good idea. In general used up ex cop cars are appreciated for the cheap performance, the price should be somewhat lower then a typical Z28.
