Question about my 88 Camaro

I have owned a 1988 Camaro Convertible Iroc-Z for about 12 years now. My question is if the car I own is anything special. Other then what I've already stated it has the Limited Edition Olympic Decals on it. Is there a way to tell with the VIN # to see if it came out of production like that or if the Limited Edition was just added later on by the dealer or something like that. My aunt purchased it in 1989 direct from dealer so no other owners came as is.

Only curious because no one seems to have ever given me any information and never really seem to find any car similar to what I have.

Vin won't tell you anything regarding that. It's not factory and won't have any major influence on value. It's likely done by the dealer or some other indendant source.

In '88 was the Calgary Winter Olympics. I'm just curious, was the dealer the car was purchased from anywhere in Canada and/or near Calgary?
