Need Help with Z28
Okay this is my first post on this site and it will be something I'm sure you guys have seen a million times. But how can I tell it a 82 Camaro is a real Z28? Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Noone? I really need to know because I'm looking at getting a 82 Camaro but don't know for sure how to tell if it's a real Z28.

I believe you can use the vin# to find out what car it really is.

How about the trim tag? If the trim tag is still riveted under the hood (near the radiator) look for Z28. I yanked this one off an 84 Z28 in a boneyard, use it as reference. I think they stopped installing these sometime in the mid-80's, so an 82 should have one.
