problem installing new steering wheel
i have an 86 sports coupe that came with the ugly square steering wheel, so i wanted to change it. well i remembed i had my old 90s steering wheel in my storage so i went and got it but im having problems. i cant get it to slide all the way back on the shaft, so i have a gap between the wheel and the steering shaft. and it looks like the airbag isnt wanting to go all the way back and i cant see whats stoping it. so im lost? help please!!

okay thats just like mine, im not sure why it wont work? unless, maybe if you put that center nut for the wheel on, & tighten it, it might just push it back. mine didnt go as far back as it should but when i put on that nut it pushed it back on flush.
