3rd gen center console to 4th gen question
I've seen people do it all the time, and I was thinking about doing it myself, but before I did I HAD to ask, how do you do this? Is there any cutting needed on the console itself, or is it basically bolt it on like the original?

Re: 3rd gen center console to 4th gen question
I have done the swap as well as helping another member do the swap on his car. Are you working with a Camaro or firebird? Auto or manual? Firebird is ALOT easier because of the radio pod but it is do-able on a Camaro as well it just takes time to get the fitment right. When I did the swap on the firebird it didn't require any trimming but when I did it on a fellow tgo members car he wanted to use a ratchet shifter so I had to trim and modify the 4th gen console to accept the shifter.

yeah it should drop in without any issues. The only thing you will have to modify is the power window buttons. I used a firebird center that had the 2nd gear start button right next to the cup holder and cut two small spots in it to fit the window switched and it worked great. I will see if I can find the pictures of the one i did for a fellow member.
