Grant steering wheel covers?

So I just installed a Grant Challenger Series wheel and love it, but it is maybe a an inch in diameter smaller than stock. Not a huge issue, except when using a cover for the wheel. Does anyone know of a wheel cover specifically for Grant wheels?

Re: Grant steering wheel covers?

I don't think so. The whole point of a aftermarket steering wheel is to be able to step away from wheel covers since wheel covers are often a bandaid fix. I've never seen one, anyways.

I figured that was the case, and I do enjoy the new wheel and doubt it will fall apart on me, but I do the covers more for a better grip than anything as the wheel is a bit slick. I guess a homemade cover will do though

Re: Grant steering wheel covers?

You might be able to cut a section out of a steering wheel cover and then reconnect it. Depending how much you have to reduce the diameter, it might not bunch up. Could try it on a cheap one as a test.

To reconnect, you could probably super glue it since those covers are mostly synthetic materials that ought to stick with it. Or you could sew it back together.

But I dont think anything exists. Like others say, the whole point of the grant wheel is show off the wheel and rim and make the wheel smaller.
