91 to 87-89 Formula Style wheel
Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and see a bunch of threads of swapping wheels to a grant, nrg, etc style wheels as well as gen 2 style wheels, but not many on swapping to a earlier third gen wheel. Mine is a 91 so I have the airbag and just wondering is there anything special I need to swap my wheel to the formula style wheel like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/311105645911
Thanks in advance. (You guys might see me alot on here from here on out. Trying to get 'Jarvis' back roadworthy and looking good.)

It's pretty much a direct bolt-in. You'll need to clip and remove the yellow airbag wire to get it to fit though. I also recommend taking the airbag light bulb out of the cluster, otherwise it's going to be lit up all the time.
You'll also need a steering wheel puller of course.

Yeah I later read that in a post after going through like 10 threads. I like the look of the formula sport wheel and the three spoke. Both look decent enough for a swap.
Any way to tuck the wire? In case I want to swap back to sell or if i need to get properly inspected. (I have a guy but you know for more flexibility.)

I ended up going with a grant challenger wheel in the car. too good of a deal on ebay vs the style of wheel i was going for and shorter wait time.
