Car: 1988 Iroc
Engine: 5.7L
Transmission: '96 T56, Hurst Shifter, Mech VSS
Axle/Gears: 3.45 9 Bolt
LT1 T56 trade for LS1 T56, or conversion parts?
Probably a long shot, but I have a 80K mile lt1 t56 that I bought before I wanted to swap in a ls1. Im looking to trade straight up for an ls1 t56 (must be similar mileage and in working order as is mine). I also will consider the parts used in converting an LT to LS t56.

they have conversion kits out the for lt to ls t56 you replace the input shaft front pump cover and housing the LT1 t56s are better because they are made by borg warner the LSones are made by tremec and cant hold as much power
