LT1 fuel tank in my 86

Well I am not doing a LT1 swap, but I do have a wrecked LT1 car sitting here. The fuel neck on my 86 is jacked, and causes it to leak when the car has been topped off. Is it possible to bolt up my LT1 tank? I know guys have been doing it with LS1 tanks, but I see no reason to spend money if I have a perfectly good tank( with a full tank of 91 less than a month old!) laying here. Also, the 94 has the fuel bucket and is a much better design than my stock tank.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sean

I hope somebody answers. I have one lying around that I wouldn't mind using on my 3rd gen as well.

Filler neck is too long, have to shorten it, its two tubes not just one (theres a smaller one in that big one)
