lt1 vacuum??
'93 LT1 camaro Z28
1. what does the vacuum ball line connect to?
2. if i use the EVAP canister, do i need the EVAP solenoid on the right side of the engine....if so, how do i hook up the solenoid and the canister???
also...
3. i cant find any pics of what modification needs to be done to the throttle cable to make it fit the bracket....can someone help?
4. does the thirdgen trans dipstick (700R4) fit behind the LT1 if i'm using a 700R4?
i would appreciate any help anyone can give.
thanks,
jimmy

Re: lt1 vacuum??
1. Vacuum ball connects to any vacuum line coming directly from the intake manifold.
2. The charcoal canister? The line that goes out from the lt1 evap solenoid should go to the charcoal canister, then the other line on the c.c. goes to the 3rd fuel line.
3. i'll work on a pic. Just notch the plastic on the throttle cable until it fits in the bracket.
4. Fits. I don't know if there is a spot to bolt it down though. Mine is just hanging there.

Re: lt1 vacuum??
thanks firebat, i got the trans dipstick to bolt to one of the engine to transmission bolts....got the vacuum ball hooked up.....and made the throttle cable fit. just 1 question about the C.C.
there are actually 3 lines for the C.C. .....5 ports but 3 merge into 1 line. 2 lines went to 1 location origionally and the 3rd went to the line going to the tank.
do i just merge the other 2 into 1 line and connect that to the line comming off of the evap solenoid?
thanks,
jimmy
