LT1 swap questions

I was thinking of swapping LT1 into my 92 Z28 the car currently got TPI 350 and I hate it,my brother got a B body LT1 carburetor engine and I was like why I dont swap that engine in my Camaro? I searched for pistons for Lt1s and I found forged and hyper. from Speed pro I got a set of brand new pistons .030 but its for old chevy engines and I dont know if they will fit LT1s,do I need a custom engine mounts?what are the things that I need to swap LT1 in my 3rd gen?I will run it carburetor so bye bye wiring and ECM what is the stock compression ratio for LT1s? I read here that I need D ports headers for them thats not a problem I need to know what I need to do the swap from A to Z and can I use my 700R4? I read alot of topics here and they are useful

It will run with the carb but you will have lost one of the best parts of the
LT1. As for the pistons IIRC the LT1 uses a light weight piston. You could use a Gen-I piston but you will be better off with the LT1 version. No special mounts needed the ones you have will work. Well my brother got the engine converted to carb and sitting in his porsche he didnt finish the project so I might take that engine out swap it in my 92 Z28,yeah I read that topic it was useful thanks ok how does this set up sound a .030 over pistons,ported aluminum heads,CC306,LT headers,650cfm carb,2500 stall,3.73,true dual exhaust?
