Axle/Gears: 4.30 M12, 23.42 10 bolt
Hawks headers and th400

Putting the 6.0 into the 86 TA and I just thought last night after yankin the 5.3 out, man it is allot of Trans compared to the t56. I swear I saw a thread on this, but the search found nothing.

Anyone know how they fit with a LS and 400 Trans?

Which headers do you have? 1-3/4 inch or 2 inch primaries?

I have 2 inch primary headers and have both y-pipes for manual and auto trans. I fitted my TH400 to the engine and the headers will fit as long as you cut off the ear from passenger side of trans. This is same modification the 4th gen guys do to put a TH400 in their cars. Requires the auto y-pipe (manual y-pipe hits trans). If you're making your own y-pipe then you'll have no issues.

They are 1 3/4. Y pipe...I have duals, they were on the 6 speed, they are going to be redone.
