4th gen LT1

Im getting ready to start an LT1 swap in my 87 Trans Am. I want to run full AC and heat. Has anyone had luck using a Corvette LT1 accessory bracket on this conversion so you dont have to mold the frame to make it fit?

Re: 4th gen LT1

That's what I'm doing right now. I found a complete accessory drive system from a 94 Corvette.

Re: 4th gen LT1

The corvette FEAD is the best option to retain AC for 3rd gen conversions. You'll need custom lines/hoses but the rest is a standard LT1 conversion covered in the sticky

How is that conversion going? How many pieces to a corvette accessory drive?
