Nw Badges/Emblems!
I got rid of the old "383 & Sinister" Badges/Emblems and went with a more traditional look with some new stuff that I ordered from Year One...all I had to do is just re-paint the "383" red from black because the striping is black itself & it would've been kinda hard to see, also I re-touched the red in the flag Badge/Emblem because it was a paler red? I was going to do it yellow but I thought why not have something that matches the color of my calipers instead & it will be something different/unique & definitely much much better than the other ones that were on before! (Don't mind the pics they were taken from my iPhone and the clarity isn't that good)
This is after I pulled the old stuff off & started fresh...
...here is the flag fender Badge/Emblem...
...the new hood Badges/Emblems...
...and a full view of all the Badges/Emblems!

Re: Nw Badges/Emblems!
I think that they could be pulled off, but the script on the hood does not match the script on the fender. The fender stripe needs to run under the emblem to flow correctly. I think that the old emblems looked better.

Re: Nw Badges/Emblems!
I'm not likin it either, but if you must have them, get rid of the yellow break in the stripe so it's on only a black background.

Re: Nw Badges/Emblems!
I think you need to trim the black vinyl stripe on the side of the fenders to make the emblems more visible, or complete the stripe so its not broken and place the emblems ontop of that.., my two cents.

I like the one on the scoop, the one on the fender is good looking. however i think something needs to be done to the bottom of the black strip

Re: Nw Badges/Emblems!
Did I ever tell you your car makes me sick to my stomach in a good way...lol. Im diggin it, what do you think If they were air brushed on with a shadow effect that makes them look like they were off the car? Just an idea for a smooth custom look.

Re: Nw Badges/Emblems!
where did you get that strut tower brace? or did you make it? i like it alot. as for the badges. like the hood, the fender does look wierd with the gap. your car by far is one of the best on the site. love the car.

Re: Nw Badges/Emblems!
I like the one on the cowl, but the one on the fender is kinda confusing. I agree, that you should complete the strip and then place them on.
As for, something different that no ones done before..... Ive been saving my 350 V8 emblems for a while now. Im not sure what they are from originally, but i think they are chevy. Ill snap a pic when i figure out where i put them.
Instead of at the front, i was going to put them under the "FIREBIRD" emblem behind the front wheel. I guess i wasnt the first to do it, but ive saved them for putting on the bird, and its finally getting a repaint this spring.

Car looks awesome .. you have definitely put a lot of love & affection into it.
I can only hope for the day when mine looks as nice.
I just got some new emblems & was wondering what I should use to install them. I've been looking at 3m double tape, but there are different kinds.
What did you use??
