came across the car i've always wanted 89 iroc-z 350tpi yuuuup after going through my local craigslist i found it but heres the best part $500 is that sweet or what... the car was rear ended but its just the quarter panel what is messed up THATS it and guess what im a body man and painter ......

Looks like a good deal, the only thing that looks out of place is in the last picture of the rear end damage. I noticed it has older model/rs taillights which the IROC should have grid style.

i noticed that and the spoiler is a high spoiler like the late z28 but theres no sign of modifications like the wholes from the low spoiler and i just ran the vin and it is an 89 iroc-z 5.7

Man thats looks like a pretty hard hit, is the subframe ok? Or will you have to straighten it? Other wise $500 not too shabby.

yup looks worst than it really is, the subframe its intact its just the quarter panel skin and the wheelwel doors open and line up perfect and the gaps are good the rear hatch glass is intact also (wonder why) lol

Something seems fishy about that car...

Have you run the VIN or seen the RPO to verify what it really is?

Just seems odd:

Wrong tail lights
Wrong wing
Wrong wheels
Body used to be red, now blue/black?

I could be wrong, but it just seems fishy. But for $500, its a thirdgen!

yup it's been repainted i can see the red... i ran the vin checked the rpo's that was the first thing i did lol but yea odd car but it is an IROC-Z and like i said no modification on the wing ooo and the rims they are the irocs they're just dirty

Love it man! wish i could get that lucky. although i got my 86 t/a for a steal $2800!! but i'd trade her for a 5.7 tpi IROC any day. I have the biggest heart for 3g camaros!

Eh I like Irocs but I've always had a thing for the first of a breed thats why I chose another 82. So when are you going to lay into that quarter/rear header ?

as soon as i got time, today im going to the candy store (junk yard) if i find a perfect quarter panel ill get it today and chop the old one of during the week. but i wanna get to it ASAP
