Installing an MSD 6AL

I just got my MSD6AL and Blaster coil. I've seen other pictures where the MSD6AL were mounted far by the fender well. I have the MSD harness, but its short. Do I have to splice longer wires to the harness???

If you want the wires to reach to where you want to put it, yes, you'll have to splice.

I have mine mounted where the charcoal canister is, and I didn't have to shorten or lengthen a single wire. Everything hooked up right out of the box with the wiring harness.

Even if yours didn't reach, you don't have to hack up the wiring harness, just the wires coming from the box itself.
