I have an L05 in my '92 Astro. Its the L05 out of a truck so its not a roller cam, but is milled for roller lifters. My question is, what exactly are swirl bowl heads and why do they flow so bad? I've read most of posts about them on here but still wonder why. This isn't discussed much on the Astro forum, most of use are just happy to have 8 cylinders to begin with!
