Just wondering if any one has a spare hi tourque mini starter for a 153 tooth flywheel. Burnt out my solenoid on my second attempt to start my fresh motor. I have a bunch of stuff to trade and possibly some cash. Just want to start my baby before Christmas. Thanks.

Yea dude. Roselle literally borders medinah and bloomingdale. Bloomingdale road turns into roselle road. Nice to hear from someone i can relate to in location.
I know the area, not real well, but i know where it is lol. I am a bit west of you in Marseilles....down rt. 80 past Joliet. Not to far though! need to get together, and if you need any help let me know, i have a ways to go on the car, but hope to at least have it drivable this year.
there is nothing here, no third gens, no clubs, no nothing.
i have the only 82 83 84 bird around here, that ive seen in like at least 6-7 years now.
other than an 83 i parted out a couple years ago.
largest town in the county here,,, at 15k population.

lol you need to get out more........go about 30mi nw of you and there is still quite a few nice turd gens running around all summer. Heh just a couple of weeks ago I saw 4 in about 1/2 hour on Court in Pekin.
Elk grove village. I am new to this site and i have only seen about two third gens here in eg. A red bird i guess with a sick 383 stroker motor, a gta and me. Not much but its something to rattle this cop ridden town.

Red bird with a 383, yeah, I remember you, but sick was correct. Crappy heads, junk emissions legal cam, and a leak in the AFPR makes for a sick and tired engine, but yes, she can still roast her rear shoes.
FYI, I did replace that AFPR and I'm ready to start cruising. Good to see someone on here that I've actually seen in life. You've been PM'd, I've met a few members through transactions and what not and I might set up a get together at my house, problem being parking.

Haha yea my area cams are kinda beat as well. There is a total of 8 around my area.
In order of which is in better condition first is my buddys fathers 91 Blue Z28, miles are right under 85,XXX and I have never seen in the 8~ years of living here on the street, its always behind the wrap around driveway hidden. Next up is a 91 RS Candy (? Maybe) Red with 20' Irocz chrome replicas. Followed by my 92 Mat Green RS, It had some rust around the rear wheels which I have removed and is currently primed up. The remainding 5 are just normal beat up, missing gfx, major rust holes 91-92 RS's. That's just Camaros, Firebirds in my area the good ones are my 89 white bird and my neighbors primed up restored 87.
I get all exited seeing other third gens, even more if their in good shape. A few days ago a similar RS to mine but bone stock even with its 305 flagged me down and talked to me about third gens. It's a good feeling to meet people who love the same cars as you. One thing that did strike me amazing was that he said his 1991 RS cost him $4000. The car had nothing wrong with it visually. Just a surface rust spot on the driver side rear quarter panel.

Live in Joliet, work in Elk Grove and Chicago. You're right about the cops, and the stupid divided roads. It takes you 30 minutes to get across the street!
