Anyone pass Mass emisions w/ a carb

As the title states....Has anyone put a carb motor on their originally FI car and passed MA emissions? Or do you think it's possible?

being still new to mass, do they do an underhood inspection? any good mechanic will be able to get you to pass emissions with a carb (having it run well at those emission levels is a different story). i just moved to mass, but my car is still registered in ct. not gonna switch it over until i have to, insurance costs are insane compaired to what i'm paying now

I have never had my hood opened for inspection.

having a carb as compared to fuel injection has no bearing on if you will pass. its how much emmissions the car will put out. if you can tune it right and make it run right up to about 2500 RPM then you shouldnt have much problems. if you guys think you are gonna have issues passing the mass inspection PM me and ill give ya some helpful hints.

Where have you gone in the past to get your stickers? The guys at Dracut Tire on Lakeview Ave are typically good and willing to work with you. Explain to them what you have done to the car and the guys will probably be willing to help you.

Keep me posted and if your in a position you need a hand I may be able to help.
