Damn my car is so so close but not quite there yet. My painter is calling me today about when to bring my bumpers, hood, and gfx in. Spring is here--70 degrees tomorrow guys!

Where are you going to get all your parts painted?

Imperial Auto in Wilmington. A good friend of mine is Imperial's paint supplier (A.B.S.A.P) and I've heard that they do amazing work. I went by the shop last week and it was one of the cleanest booths I've ever seen.

I have a guy I know in Wilmington who doesn't specialize in transmissions but does real good work. The shop name is "Auto Repair Guy". What are you looking to get done?

Bodell Auto Upholstery in Billerica ma. I have never used them but I'm pretty sure ive heard good things IIRC

Eventually i will probobally need to have work done, i have to cover my basics on the tranny. but its strange, it shifts pretty good up to 4th, but when i punch it in 4th it doesnt grab a gear. i figured i could go to a good tranny guy and get his input on it.

I never heard of SV Engineering. Thier website looks pretty good. Have any of you used them. They are about 3 minutes away from me

I had my car dynoed at sv last November. My CFI made more torque than 72 corvette with 350ci v8

Is there anyone in the North shore area with a 4" cowl hood? Ive got my 454 single turbo big block running but the intake wont fit under a stock hood. Im trying to figure out whether or not I can get by with a 4" cowl or not (would still have to be modded for the turbo) so anyone with some spare time let me know. All I really need to do is some measurements. Thanks!

Oh and +1 for SV, I'll be having my car dyno'd there soon, Steve & Pops are great guys.

Chris I got the box in... Have the core for you, but I need an alignment ASAP... Anyone get one around here that came out okay? The last time I had it aligned was off...

I think those 18 inch rims through off the alignment machine . Very few machines can compensate for non stock rim sizes.

Not in my case... My suspension is not stock either... Any decent shop that deals with any kind of performance should have no problem aligning my front end. A flat plane is a flat plane.

Oh wait, I forgot... You're right! My left front tire is 15" wide and is square with a triangular edge... What am I going to do? Also my right steering knuckle if from a 70s Ford truck... Do you think it can be done?

Hey bud i got a 6" hood sitting in my shed that came off my car when i bought it. Its home made but itl work for measurments id give it to u only i promised it to my buddy who wants to bond it on his Malibu. Im on cape if your interested.
