5/20 or 5/21 is fine with me, I was just suggesting both dates to include as many of you guys as possible I know you work late on weeknights del so that's another reason. My brother will come if he gets it smogged this week, so I hope he passes.

As of next week I'll have snagged another promotion and will get to drop this crappy shift for good.
So if we don't git 'r done this weekend as it seems most folks are busy, I can get out in the future.
Where did you get a job Will?
Did you quit Cingular I think it was caz of Idanohoes?

Hey now Will, don't be so down on urself bro!
At least you still have a fine lookin' Camaro
When I am in a F.T.W. mood, I usually like to blast down the freeway at night with the tunes up and the pipes blaring. "Thirdgen Therapy" I'd have to call it...
Although maybe I have done too much Thirdgen Therapy at 6000 RPM and am overdue for a session because of my rod knock.

Thanks for all of the uplifting words guys. You are true friends. I also like to drive fast and listen to loud music when I am pissed, hearing the exhaust rumble is my therapy too. I will keep you guys updated as new things happen and come along.
Eric, pm me with some job info, thanks for the help.

Why the nitrous sale Travis?
Something new in the works for the track?
I'll be out and about Sat. night on Sunrise.

Sounds like a plan to me El TraviZio!
I definitely will be off this weekend's meet list, I want to make that 28th Six Flags date if it's still on though.

What time are you going to be out Robby?
I've got some plans w/the woman in the eve. and will most likely not be out rollin' around Sunrise with her until after 10pm.
I hope to come out and cruise more than I did last year.
What's the point of having a fun car if you don't get to take it out and get into some trouble w/it.
(Not Eric kinda trouble, haha)

Darn, just my luck, the car's running fine then I go to cruise last night and my alternator fails, that sucked. This is my 3rd alternator in 4 months. Then i had to replace my fan motor as it was going out at the same time. Lets hope this doesn't happen next time.

I hope you have an alternator w/ a lifetime warranty.
I've been there with my V6 Firebird.
Went through 4-5 alternators over 5 years till I found one that lasted.
That's one thing I can change quickly now in our cars.
There will be plenty more nights to cruise.
I had some fun against an '04 GT last night.
He though he was pretty hard, but I kept a length on him for the most part.

Robby, get a GM alternator, they last and have a lifetime warranty, I can get you one with a discount if you want, just pm me and let me know. If not a GM, like Del said spend the extra money and get a aftermarket one with a lifetime warranty.
Del, wished I could have been there to cruise the other night. Hope to be out soon. Nice job on keeping up with the GT. Where did you cruise around and race this GT?

Get the Autolite Alternator from Kragen's, it has a lifetime warranty and I have used it.
It's less expensive than the GM, plus I'm a sucker for the NASCAR logo stuff
New GT's on top of being uber-ugly are slower than my 'ROC (before the knock, doc). I ran this 40yr old guy that thought he was 16 and revved at me only to be raped off the line and never caught up.
Dented quarter panel, bad paint and all, bet he was wishing he got a Thirdgen and put a down payment on a house

yeah will one of these fri/sat nights soon we need to have a meet to kick things off for the summer time. I think you're gonna own me in terms of racing, but maybe it will be kinda close. the car has ran a bit better with adjusted timing, even though there still isn't a timing marker on it, 19lb injectors, and305 ecm. eric's probably pissed off at me for not changing those yet.
crossfire> my tpi how ironic.

Down Sunrise,went for a ride w/my gal.
He kept rolling into the starts at 10-15 mph before he would hit it and let me know he was racing.
I think he was afraid of the TPI torque.
Either way, he never got ahead.
I think newer GT's (00-04) are my fav to race because they usually think they're pretty hot and really aren't, w/only 260hp before mods.
On a side note, I think a Will vs Robby race would be close.

Robby, you never know who is going to be faster. We will find out for sure next meet.
Del, how was the cop patrol when you went cruising? Were there a lot of people hanging out that night and driving around, did they shut the lights off on Sunrise?

im not mad i just want your car to be at its full potiential
as far as the timing goes well we can put a mark on there i know how to do it without a timing mark
basically you bring #1 to tdc compression and than that will tell you where your at with the motor off you than can mark it..and adjust... not that hard again i have to see your car to help you bro

ya i definetly would like my car to be at it's potential, I'm sure my transmission slipping/not shifting good, 305 comp, 19lbs inject, stock airfilters, unknown timing, unknown block aren't helping me get to where i want, or know where my engine should be at. But as of now, it feels faster than those mid 16's, so at least I have that going for me.
low 16's baby, here I come

Del, how was the cop patrol when you went cruising? Were there a lot of people hanging out that night and driving around, did they shut the lights off on Sunrise?
Hey David -
What's your classification at FTB?
I got a buddy that started there as a KDO, now an AISA on Folsom/Bradshaw.
I'm at DOJ, hoping to get to AISA by next year,

I'm sure since you have cust. serv. experience, you can be a tax tech, they're always hiring those and key data operators if you can type fast.
Those are both entry level jobs that pay good.
Maybe David can expedite the handling, but usually it's a pretty slow process to get in with the state.

Let's see here..........
Will, Yes!, Del is correct. You can qualify for Tax Tech, maybe even Compliance Rep (me) Do you have a degree? if not, no worries. I will look for the EXAMS for what you will qualify/or close we will fib alittle. The process is pretty straight forward: seek out an exam, take exam, rank on exam, wait for a job op flyer to come out, apply to that. They take names off the exam list to hire from. Gotta get you ranked off some exams.
