Hey Del-
I am a Compliance Rep rank "C" trying to get my Sr. classification. Same pay scale as a I.S.A. I believe.

I guess as Will is finding out, almost any job is worth keeping, I mean nobody seems to want to hire you for what you are worth....even the state. I have a four year degree, and make like what 45k before tax...peanuts, but to some not I guess....
Need to make more than this to keep the rock on the road.

David - Yes, the state isn't the best place to go if you're trying to earn your worth from the get go.
Need to put in a lot of time to get where you want to be I'm discovering.
Eric - You get that tranny work done from that Cottman guy across from Bennie's yet?
I have an SLP converter and cooler that's been sitting in my garage a long while.
Thinkin' 'bout having them put in soon.
Anybody down to gtg next weekend 6/10-12?
Not sure who's car is running or not these days.
Changed my diff. fluid again and reg. oil today and gave her a quickie wash.
Also put a K&N FIPK (intake) on the Supra for fun.
It actually made the exhaust tone audible now and probably picked up a few horses.
Will probably put a full (quiet) exhaust in the near future just to make it breathe properly and gain a little more power.

Oh boy, secret mods.
Does it help your car whistle like a turbo perhaps?
I have a few mods waiting in boxes in my garage.
Not really secrets, just not worth talking about till I'm ready to put them on.

well lets put it this way im still in pretty much stock form for the engine and i we are still dead even hahha
you have, intake base, air foil, headers, full exhaust, blaster coil, fully built tranny with stall converter, and a slight rear end advantage
i have a distrubtor, and gasket matched intake.... and we both have the free mods thats great and a manual conversion

It's not like you both started with identical rides in the same condition.
Every car will respond differently no matter what's on it regardless of year/engine/rear end.
I've got a ton of "bolt-ons", but they aren't really power making ones, I think of them more as car preparation mods.
I don't believe dead even on the track has been seen yet as that is where it really matters and only Travis has hit a 13.7 so far with whatever he had done at the time.
So let's just see who hits that 12.9 first eh.

It should be more weighted on what you've gained from the work.
Not sure what Travis' stock times were.
After all the mods since you started,
including the manual swap, what did you gain, .1?
You've got some work to do son!
I may not have cracked 13's yet, but I have bettered my stock time of 15.0 by 1 sec with my mods so far.

The city would be Roseville, it's north of Sacramento BORLAZ06. The Mel's Dinner sounds like a good spot to me Robby, is that ok with everyone else? Is Friday or Saturday better, I know Friday would work better for me?

Actually I am going to be painting fences. The gauge cluster will never be up for sell, so forget it, it's priceless. Oh Travis, I got that job at Cingular, they called me today. Don't know a start date yet because they still have to do a backround check, drug testing, etc.

Ya, now we can park next to each other. Maybe I should paint my car red first so we can match, na.
