Re: Sacramento GTG - Lunch/Autorama Sat 2/12
we need to stay as "maybe" for now I have to get Jen's rear back together, at least it is just the diff, and not the trans, the only problem is I can't find a good cheep 3 series 26 spline locker to put in at the same time(hint, hint), went to pick n pull and only found a 2 series. If we do make it our vote is Hooters for lunch(as long as the kids can go in) depending on the timing, we might skip the autorama, there are several car shows around redding, and after awhile all those classic cars start to look the same, but we have some family in the area we might meet up with.

I second Hooters. It'd be my first visit and my first GTG.

if it is family friendly, i will have to get my girls t-shirts, and see if we get a call from the school #$@% closed minded teachers. we got a call due to a Hannah Montana shirt once.

I'm bringing my 4 year old, he's been off the boob for 2 years, so I dont want him to relapse at Hooters. There's Cheesecake Factory, and El Torito close by and I agree we should carpool from the start point.

Cheesecake factory is good, but may be hard to get into with 10+ folks on a Saturday. Buffet style somewhere would be good and easy.

Re: Sacramento GTG - Lunch/Autorama Sat 2/12
I was thinkn Californina Pizza Kitchen.. but anywhere in the mall could get a lil too crazy. El torito is across from the mall. There's a Chilis at Howe Bout Arden and Fridays jus down the road. The movie theater would be a good place to meet for those who don't know the area. Lots of parking and would make us easier to spot. From there go to desired restaurant.

Re: Sacramento GTG - Lunch/Autorama Sat 2/12
I like the Fresh Choice or Pizza Kitchen idea.
Buffets are good for variety, especially with kids.
Others:
Luau Garden Chinese buffet- Arden
Hometown buffet - Watt/El Camino
I don't know if places like Mt Mikes/Round Table do pizza/salad buffet on weekends, anyone know?
I think mall parking will be tough on a Saturday. Maybe the 2nd level of the parking garage @ Macys/JCP. That's usually open when you first get up it.
Fridays off Howe has been closed for a long while.
Rather not deal with a large party in a standard sit down joint, finding enough seating and tabulating a bill can be tough sometimes.
We should definitely have a fun Hoot GTG this year as well at another time when the 3rd gens are running.
Added you Terrell.

There is a hometown buffet not far from the expo center. Here's a google maps link.

I tend to go overboard in buffets. I might need a wheelchair for the autorama then. Chipotle is fine...

Chipotle is fast, easy billing and casual seating. I'm good with that. Parking I don't know, but we can wing it.
Chipotle Mexican Grill - Howe & Arden
1729 Howe Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95825
Going once. ..going twice. ..

Sold!! There is a guitar center behind there (my favorite place to shop). Should be enough parking if Chipotle is busy.

Good, settled. I will clean this thread up a little later and modify the top post with the info.
I say Chipotle at 11am. Hopefully decent weather and we can just hang out in the lot till all arrives.

Things are looking more promising about showing for the gtg, I got Jen's rear rebuilt today, and am expecting the spacers for my vette wheels on Monday or Tuesday, still no promises tho.

18 per adult to enter the autorama. Like 10 dollars to park. Chipotle burrito is about 8 dollars with a drink or so.

Del, count me out for sure. Not good timing right now, and funds are no good, sorry. I miss you all and I am sure I will see you guys another time Have fun and be sure to post pics!
Wddavis, thanks for your support bro. You are so right, gotta do what you have to sometimes whether you like it or not. Don't worry though, I know for a fact someday I will own another 3rdgen. This time it will not be my daily driver though, I think with my ocd personality it's best I keep it that way lol.
