Re: fs: afr 180s and xfi 268

You should post the part # for the head. Isnt thier different combustion chamber sizes? and is it for L98 plugs, straight, or angle? etc...I know AFR 180s is what I wanna get when I upgrade to different cylinder heads but the money isnt there for me right now.

Re: fs: afr 180s and xfi 268

That sounds terribly painful. I sprain my ankle what seems to be every year. Usually in basketball, or doing something dumb. Some say it's better to break so it heals back stronger, but snapping and tearing tendons sounds awful.

Nice head/cam combo btw! I pondered that route as well at one time. What are you going to do instead?

Re: fs: afr 180s and xfi 268

yeah the doc said that to that id be better off breaking it then what i did. I did do it playing bball with inexperieced youngsters on my base. Oh well **** happens lucky i have good medical coverage thanks by the way I plan on going with the 195 and siamesing my runners alittle more to a super ram length they are about 5.5
inchs long so another inch or so and ill be good. I plan on goin with a custom cam bigger then xfi268 but smaller then the xfi280
I was thinking a 224/230 on xfi lobes or another company

I hear ya man. Jus yankn ur chain there a lil bit. I def don't see a plus in having kids just to have a write off. That's actually backwards as all hell.

well i just had the surgery today. I hate being on pain killers and stuff like that. But i also got an email from afr saying they will let me upgrade my heads to the 195 so i wont need to sell them. How awesome is there customer service. So the heads are off the market still have the cam for sale.

But if I would have went with my gut and not listened to alot of people i would already have the 195, you live you learn. Its my first engine build, and I have learned alot and You always gotta go with your gut.
