Re: JUNE GTG - Sacramento Raceway + BBQ
Well, I'm out. Looks like in addition to pistons, it F**k'd up a couple of rods too.
The block and crank is ok, but has some signs of main cap movement. Looks like the factory Chevrolet block doesn't like the 200 shot of nitrous.
Since nothing broke, I'll have this short block rebuilt w/o cam and sell it, since it still in one piece. (add your cam & heads).
I'm ordering a 434 Pro Nitrous shortblock, w/ a Dart Little m block tomorrow. The combo and tune wont be ready for about a month.
I might install the original L98 engine and spray the F out of that for Grudge night. Hope to get it done and maybe see you there.

Please do review the first post to see what you signed up for, or feel free to contribute if you haven't already!
Going to be lots of people it appears, so we'll make do with whatever the racing gods provide as we always do.

Initial measuring(in the dark) looks promissing, will check in daylight hours to be sure.

Maybe I'll bring Theo's Vert Iroc out. I broke mine, but we fixed his with a new distributor.
That LT1 might just sweep everyone up if I throw my tires on it.

Re: JUNE GTG - Sacramento Raceway + BBQ
Great cooperation all. Def don't stress about cramming your 3rd gens full of tables and chairs, but if you can easily bring something, that's awesome.
I'm hopeful in Aug/Sept to have a BBQ at my house and then head over to the Raceway for a Grudge. Won't have to worry about gettin' all this stuff together.
I don't think it will be hard to find us if you're there in the 4 o'clock hour. PM me for my # if you want a backup once you're there.
It's lookin' like I'm a spectator unfortunately, so expect the 4th gen instead.

Bah, racing my stockish 4th gen and netting 2.4 60's doesn't sound fun.
I need more time with all the food and drank anyways, haa.

I test fit the table, it fits, but it is ugly. I had too much "stuff" happen right before work today, but its all good now! And one day closer to Saturday
