Haven't lived there since 1985, though.

South central, a wide spot in the road called Arapahoe.
While I was in the Army, my folks lived in O'Neill for a couple of years. While I was at UNL, I'd sneak up to Scribner from time to time.
Don't know of any clubs.

I have a place up in Lemoyne about 1/8 mile from Big Mac. It's actually a bit further than that these past few years though. I have never seen the lake so low before. The skiing is still pretty good though and the water is nice and warm.

Yo! Omaha here, currently not far away, at WSC, but I'm heading back down to UNL next semester. Not really any camaro clubs, but check out www.gmmodernmuscle.com sometime, lot of guys from around the state over there. Also, 3rdgen.org is where I usually browse about ... forgot my old user name on here say I needed to create another one, over there, we've got two guys, myself included with camaros from Omaha/Lincoln. I know there are a few others on here, but I don't think too many people really ever check these boards.

There is a pretty good Camaro club in Omaha. I have the link on my computer at home. I believe it is an F-body club. They've got a pretty impressive web site. I am from Omaha but live in Denver now. I know the club meets monthly for meetings and events, pizza places H&H Cheverolet etc...

He bought an '82 V6 Berlinetta and swapped in a 305 10 years before I did. But, then, he's also 10 years older than me. He gave the car to his son in North Carolina about a year before I got mine.
His name is Bob Larson, pastor of the Luthern church there. He can't spend as much time or money on cars as he'd like, but he's got "my" 350 shortblock (another brother in Omaha picked up a rebuilt 350 engine for his pickup, and the removed engine was up for grabs - Bob lived closer, so he won).

Couldn't tell you about the location. I've never been there myself. He's the pastor in two different towns, that much I know.

Long time no post?! Here is the link for the Midwest Camaro Club
http://www.midwestcamaro.com/ They seem to originate from Omaha. I do not belong to htis club as I live in Denver now, but it seems like a pretty active club.

Mine is the beauty blue w/ white racing stripes 18" chrome irocs, if you saw it it was probably overheated on 33rd St or stalling a a stop sign somewhere....
But that's why she's in the shop now.

Ohhhh I think I've seen your car before! It was at least 4 months ago though, I remember rolling down O with a friend of mine and I noticed that same blue with white stripe third gen with the nice wheels. I was gonna yell out nice car but you were one car ahead of us on the right side.

I'm from Grand Island, I've seen maybe around 6 or 7 third gens here, could be more that I just haven't seen though. I have a white 1990 RS that I am currently trying to fix up with a high school budget.

Its pretty clean and has a lot of work under the hood, the only thing that its lacking right now is the ****ty interior...
That's why you tint the windows...
Interior is my last priority, anyways.(college budget...)
If I get a chance to work on it over christmas break I'll try and post some pics. If you guys have some you should post them, too.
Edit: It used to have "DAAKE" vanity plates but not anymore.

The only ones I've seen in awhile are in the garage at 17th and R. Ones a really pretty maroon Iroc convertible. Gorgeous car. The other is a blue one. I hope, crossing my fingers, to get mine up here sometime probably in the spring, after the motor, tranny, and rear have been swapped, as well as doing the suspension mods.

For you Lincoln guys, if you ever need any body work done, go to Wolfgang auto body shop, they do AWESOME work, for reasonable rates!, they repainted my Black Camaro, I removed a lot of stuff before they painted it, but no tape lines or overspray, and they did a great job a wet-sanding and buffing, it's very hard to find any orange-peel in the paint.

Another NE camaro! I am from omaha. There is a good camaro club in omaha. It is called Midwest Camaro club. You can look it up on the web. They have monthly meetings and various get togethers. They do a lot of stuff during the summer like cruises every month and host a big car show every year around august. Check them out. I belong to the club but don't do a whole lot with them because i am usually very busy during the summer. but it is a very good club.. I have an 84 z28.
