Maybe we could bring our handheld radios. (I forgot what you call them 1-5 mile radios) That way we could talk to each other and slow down if anyone gets stuck behind. I know that the MFBA does that on their spring/fall cruises. Just a suggestion.

I would love to be able to meet you all and do the whole caravan thing-but I can't this year. I'll have to stop for gas too much (new fuel cell). It will take at least two maybe three stops to get to Denny's place-and I live in Homer Glen. I may bring the Harley instead of the IROC, haven't decided yet- would you guys be able to accept the motorcycle? Not like I don't want to take the camaro-it's gonna cost me around $75. Oh who cares-I'll bring it-See ya there!

Hey, make sure you guys all RSVP on the other post if you haven't already done it. I need to have a pretty good idea of how many people are coming.

Car: 1989 TransAm GTA
Engine: One sweet modified 355 TPI.
Transmission: The kind that shifts....
When 9d1burd and I went down to Denny's we cruised an average of 85mph the whole way. I don't have a speedo but the tach was sitting around 2,700rpms. Unfortunately I don't have TCC lockup so its affecting my mileage pretty bad. Specially on the highways.

Darkside-no I'm not married to a person, just my cars-I have a 68 vette (Kellison J4R body), and an 85 Pontiac station wagon that I race along with the IROC. I am trying to talk my friend into going to the event too (best friends since kindergarten-both Camaro freaks). I wanted to beef up my car and put the new engine in it this year, but I ran out of $ being that I blew up the big block in the vette last season and just invested about $15,000 in a replacement engine. I'll have to bring pics I guess-can't wait to meet you all!

So are you going to be at the caravan? If so, which list can I add your name to?

Count me in, I'll be hitting the mall nice and early as not to get left behind. Thirdgen86ta, if you want to cruise there together let me know since I'm gonna try to grab Brandon (the crazy '92 from McD's) and my buddy Lance (the white '92 RS with the cage) and get them to come too. Let me know and maybe we can all cruise to the mall together and wreak some havok on the poor citizens of Hanover/ Schaumburg/ Hoffman/ Bartlett/ where ever else we go through.
See you guys there.
Chris

Alright, one more for the mall. Hopefully you can get all those other thirdgens. If everyone shows up, this will be one very sweet caravan.

Aight people I'll see you at Portillo's at 11:30am. I'm gonna be up there around 11:00am, just look for the Green 4th Gen. Hopefully I'll have figured out my rear suspension problem by then. I was going off the Hastled on ramp to 80/94 and heard a pop. After wards the back left clunks when i hit bumps or if I swerve. I think the bushings on the rear left of the sway bar are gone or the shock bit the dust. The mounts looked okay i guess, damn it all to hell! Well don't mind me, i'll be in touch.
