with these mods...?
Last year i took my bird to the track and ran a 17.6 @80 which i know sux but it was new to me and all i did was tune it with plugs and cap/rotor. K&N too, but tires were bad etc . This car has the rest of the mods in my sig now and flowtech shorties with magnaflow 3" cat and custom 3" cat back into flopro or flowmaster coming soon. Oh yeah new 245-50-16s too BFGs or Kelly
So whadya think for ET, feel free to exagerate cuz i put a lot of money in this winter and i can't really go to the track for a couple of months yet
Thanks, Tim

17.6 at 80mph? i noticed youre from Canada, are you racing at altitude? if so, you should so a conversion factor for your times.
i say this cause my bone stock LG4 Z28 went 16.0 at 85mph at sea level. thats a HUGE difference from your times... and from what ive read, the 87' version of the LG4 has a 20hp advantage over my 84'.
so let us know at what altitude youre racing at and we can get a better baseline for your car

He's from London Ontario which means he should be racing at St. Thomas Dragway. The track sits at 600 feet altitude. This racetrack also just switched to IHRA this year after being an NHRA track for 41 years.

i'm kinda hoping the cat was plugged or...? cuz i will need to tint the windows to keep racing, kinda embarassing. the car looks great, but it really was a little old lady car so it ain't used to racing (or even maintenace. one of the plugs fell apart in my hand!) Hopefully these mod will help, i can't find a reason for being so slow
Don't know that a correction factor is going to explain that 17.6

No predictions? CHP had a project LG4 camaro that ran a corrected 17.4 after a tune up and new stock cat so my 17.6 is close but i'm still wondering what these mods could get me. The engine is sound with low miles and no obvious leaks or burns.
