Torque vs 1/4 mile times?

I know this might sound a little weird but I was wondering for my mild big block build up that I am not starting until I have my car setup before I build the motor, which will more than likely take a few years or until the zz4 dies. How will say a 530hp 540ci with 650tq or a more radical 496 with say the same horsepower and less torque effect 1/4mile times? These are some of the types of engine options I want to build for power.

Example: 540ci
10:1.1 comp.
Performer rpm air-gap intake
850-900cfm DP

Example: 540ci est.hp 530hp @ 5000rpm and 650ft torque @ 3500rpm
10:1.1 comp.
Performer rpm air-gap intake
850-900cfm DP
AFR 315cc heads
comp XE270HR with 1.8 roller rockers dur. 218 224 543 543 lift
2in hookers
est.17+inches of vac. at idle

496 est. hp 530hp @ 5300rpm and 600ft torque @ 4000rpm
10:1.1 comp.
Performer rpm air-gap intake
850 cfm DP
AFR 315cc heads
comp 280HR dur. 224 224 566 566 lift
2in hookers
est. 15inches of vac. at idle
These are just general guesses based on DTD and people who I have talk to with similar displacement motors. How would the torque difference affect 1/4 mile performance or even a 530hp 427 with even less torque.

I know I could slap a solid roller cam in a 496 and make 600hp pretty easy with a good set of heads but I want a motor that has little or no lope, runs of pump gas and needs little valve adjustments, make great vac. etc. I basiclly want my zz4 characterics with alot more power. The problem my engine builder tells me is that these motors with smaller cams will make 600-700ft of torque.I know it sounds silly and I want alot of horsepower with good driving manners for the street but is there any way to make 530+hp with out all that drivetrain shredding torque? I thought about a 427 because of the smaller stroke but I don't know if that is enough cubes to rich my hp goal? Destroking a world castings block? I want to run mid-low 11s with all these characteristics. Is it possible?

Sorry about that first post!!
