265/40WR17 Dunlop Tires(2) NEW!
Up for sale are (2) Dunlop Direzza DZ101. They have less than 1 mile on them. There is Absolutley nothing wrong with them, No Damage to sidwall,Bead or Tread. No Patches or Plugs. I bought them thinking they would fit my 17x9.5 rims. Im willing to do a trade for Great Shape 275/40ZR17 tires(2). Obviously the tires must not have any plugs or patch, No uneven wear, balding, sidewall or bead damage. Must have 1/2 treadlife or more. Please inform me on the brand, tread depth and condition. The tires that are for sale will run you $268.00 shipped if your in the east coast(U.S) Im willing to let it go for $220.00 shipped(east coast).
The Direzza DZ101 (di-rez'-za) is Dunlop's Ultra High Performance Summer tire for the drivers of sport compact cars. The Direzza sharesits name with Dunlop's Japan GT Championship (JGTC) racing tires, and was developed to provide crisp and responsive handling in both wet and dry conditions, however it is not intended to be driven in snow or on ice.
On the outside, the Direzza DZ101 features Dunlop's specially formulated Silicarbon Matrix tread compound (combines silica and carbon black) to enhance grip in the wet without surrendering traction in the dry. The compound is molded into a directional treaddesign featuring rigid shoulder blocks and two wide, straight tread channels with long, oblique grooves to combine responsive handling, stable cornering and hydroplaning resistance.
Internally, the Direzza DZ101 features twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop's Jointless Band (JLB) spiral-wound cap ply to stabilize the tread area enhancing handling and high-speed capability. A polyester cordbody enhances ride quality while Max Flange Shields help resist rim damage due to accidental curbing.

What am I missing? You say they wont' fit your 17x9.5s, but they're
rated for a 9.5-10" rim and you want to trade for a bigger tire size?

I was mystified the very same way. I thought Z06's had 265/40R17 tires up front. Bought them and the outer bead dosent necessarily cover up the lip of the rim. Im more that certain these rims would be suitable for 17x9 rims. They dont leak air and the tire caught with the rim upon installation. I just wouldnt dare run them at the track.
