Engine: L98
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.27
5-speed firebird shift plate and boots
I need a 5-speed firebird shift plate and a good pair of boots. I need both the shifter boots, upper and lower. Please contact me if you have one. It would help me out alot. It is very annoying to drive around in an otherwise nice car with a hole in the console that you can see the tranny through!

I have the base boot and the shifter plate(no cracked but dirty)but the boot on the shifter plate is junk $50 shipped for both

still need these parts. The other guy only had a camaro one so I'm still looking. It would seem like SOMEBODY would have these parts. Had no idea they were so rare until I tried to find them.

Yes, I have pwr windows and mirrors. I'm thinking I might have to get what I can find though. I could prob do a good job cutting holes in one if I have to. Do you have one?

That's awesome. Do you have both boots also? I also am looking for a console lid if you have one of those too

I have the upper boot but it has a couple of small rips in it. It is useable, the rips are right where the boot folds during shifting.
I do not have a lower boot. The shift plate is in good shape with no broken tabs or broken mounting holes. There are no cracks in it either. As usual the ash tray lid doesn't work properly. It is dirty but in good shape. I'm trying to post a pic but haveing troubles. I'll keep trying. The shifter plate has factory holes for power window and power mirrors. I also have one with power window switch holes but no power mirror switch hole.

I have seen new aftermarket boots for sale on ebay. They normally sell for 10-15 dollars including shipping. The lower boot should be available either from GM or from any of the online 3rd gen sites. If you want the plate and the boot I'll sell 'em for the same $50 shipped. Let me know.
