too much power steering fluid?
What happens when you put in too much power steering fluid? Everything i read (PS fluid bottle, car manual) says do not overfill. Wellll....i overfilled. I can probly siphon it out, and its not a problem now anyway because i dont have a belt on the pump, but why shouldnt you overfill it? Will it cause any serious problems? Thanks

I've overfilled many and had no problems. I think it's just so that you don't overflow when it's hot causing it to leak out the top and all over the block/road and maybe make a fire.
