B&M 144 and oil sender

I'm installing a B&M 144 and I can't figure out how B&M expected me to install my oil sender. The EGR is directly over top the oil sending hole and there definetly isn't any room to install an elbow directly on the port. Has anyone else had this problem?

i had the same problem. i had to use a die grinder to clearance the intake manifold a little. i also had to round the back of the 90 degree fitting for the oil sender. i tried to take a picture, but it was a hard area to get a camera into this area for a good shot.

Battmann, looks like you had to install it before the manifold? I really don't wanna remove the intake to install this thing. What was B&M thinking?

Tom I'm think I'm going to go this route. Do you know if the thread is the same?

almost postive it is NOT a 100 % though just see when you pull the plug out if it matches to the sender if not im sure you could buy a brass adapter from any local parts place

yeah, i did this before installing the manifold. i was rebuilding the engine to add the blower and then ran into the same problem you have. luckily it was easy to overcome because the engine was already apart.

Re: B&M 144 and oil sender

top hole is 1/8th npt. i think the bottom by the filter is 1/4.
You might get a 90* swivle An adapter in there.

I know my 1/8th to 6am adapter is smaller then the brass ones you get at a home depot / lowes.
